ABOUT ME
I have recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University where I studied Costume Design and Construction for Stage and Screen. I have a strong passion for texture and colour seen throughout the natural world and this has inspired many of my projects giving them a further depth through embroidery, print and breaking down. Over my time at university, I have been able to develop my technical sewing and textiles skills whilst finding new skills such as fitting to the body, pattern cutting and adjustments. Alongside construction processes I have found a love for design, being able to enhance a character through props, shape and position using historical, cultural knowledge as well as construction knowledge to make and design costumes that are fit for purpose.
